This role is a strategic hire to ensure our client can successfully design, develop and deliver large company-wide projects within our transformation programme. The main role of hired person will be to support the company with making critical architectural decisions guaranteeing high quality and scalability of developed solutions across whole IT environment, ensuring technical and commercial feasibility as well as meeting all technical and business requirements. 


  • Monitor changes in systems in terms of compliance with the developed target architecture, market best practices and company standards

  • Design of concepts for new technological solutions in the area of IT infrastructure: onpremises, cloud-based and at the junction of both

  • Drive key architectural decisions across whole organization

  • Ensure high technical performance and scalability of the software products and/or services

  • Collaborate with operational teams at the stage of planning and implementing IT projects and solutions

  • Work with external suppliers and consultants

  • Participate in the process of introducing changes to IT systems in the field of supervising technical and integration requirements

  • Create and implement technological, integration and architectural standards

  • Work with business and development teams

  • Resolve design challenges that arise from interactions across different projects

  • Independent creation of and responsibility for architecture concepts across multiple systems

  • Coordinate work and decisions with relevant stakeholders


  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT systems development, including min. 5 years as an architect in medium/large scale organization with solid engineering background in cloud-based and micro-service architectures

  • Extensive experience with developing architectures and architectural governance in big transformation projects

  • Practical experience in implementing advanced cloud architecture in the IaaS and PaaS models (preferably using Microsoft Azure Cloud)

  • Good skill to transform complex matters into simple and lasting solutions

  • Flair for stakeholder management and eagerness to build relations

  • Fluent communication in English in speech and writing

  • Good communication skills

  • Experience in using agile methodologies and working with tools like Jira/Confluence/Azure DevOps

  • Strength in problem-solving and issue resolution

  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment
