Our client is looking for two guidewire developers, one dedicated to the Billing center and the other one to the Policy center. This role is a strategic hire to ensure we can successfully design, develop and deliver large company-wide projects within our transformation programme. The main role of hired person will be to develop and maintain our core insurance system and work closely with business team to help converting business requirements into new system features in the area of Guidewire PolicyCenter and PolicyCenter Rating engine/ Billing center. You will work in Scrum Team together with other developers, testers and business analysts and will be responsible for development of new features, controlling code quality and supporting business to allow delivery of necessary implementation on core platform and digital front-ends. We are looking for goal oriented team players who enjoy delivering value to organization.


  • Design and implementation of new features in Guidewire Billing or PolicyCenter 

  • Maintenance of existing platform with a strong focus on code quality and good solution design.

  • Support workstream / product owners with estimation of time required to deliver new features.

  • Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with workstream colleagues, product owners, and all senior stakeholders to drive transparency of program workloads, financial, commitments, and expectations.


  • At least three years of experience with the Guidewire Billing or PolicyCenter and good knowledge about PolicyCenter rating engine and product configuration

  • Good understanding of OOP principles and design patterns

  • Good understanding of REST API standard from provider/consumer perspective

  • Understanding of SQL database principles

  • Fluent English

  • Good communication skills

  • Eager to learn new technologies and solutions

  • Experience in working with project/product delivery Scrum teams as a developer.

  • Strength in problem-solving, issue resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment and attention to detail.

Additionally the ideal candidates:

  • Are familiar with other Guidewire modules

  • Have experience working in consulting, delivery, or IT company, especially in the field of non-life insurance

  • Have experience working in distributed, international Team.
