Candidate’s profile
Our transformation project from IT perspective is supported by implementation of new core solutions and Microsoft Azure driven data platform. Initial releases are focused on delivering critical functionalities and data integration. Long term we plan to develop dedicated data function and data team. The person we are looking for would contribute to abovementioned effort as Data analyst in one of our development teams.
Role
Collect and clarify business requirements
Deliver solutions to meet the data and reporting needs for further business decisions. We mainly use SQL Management Studio and Azure Data Factory
Analyze source systems (including databases and data structures)
Verify data transfer from legacy system to the new solution
Work with subject matter experts and development team to understand available data
Work closely with architect, developers, and testers in agile team
Support development of data function
Expectations
Ability to understand data models through independent research, mapping preparation (from source system tables to target tables)
Mapping and Data modeling skills
DB analysis (preferred MS SQL)
Insurance domain knowledge
Excellent English skills
Ability to write complex SQL queries
Good understanding of RDBMS concept
Strong assets:
Data warehousing and ETL experience
Experience with MS SQL and Oracle databases
Experience in Agile teams
