Business Analyst - Guidewire Product Expert

As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate closely with business leaders to create innovative insurance solutions that promote business growth and sustain large-scale projects that are designed, developed and delivered successfully as part of a big transformation program. The role will entail designing business models, developing new products and fostering innovation.

Working as part of a Scrum team alongside developers, testers and other team members, the Business Analyst will be responsible for translating business goals, processes, data and rules into project deliverables and business requirements, which will enable the implementation of the necessary changes to the core platform and digital interfaces.

Role


  • Interpret internal / external business challenges and opportunities and set up solutions to deliver.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with workstream colleagues, product owners, and all senior stakeholders to drive transparency of program workloads, financial, commitments, and expectations.

  • Conduct business analysis, define functional requirements and test created solutions.

  • Collaborate with specialists in various functional and geographic domains within a virtual international team context.

  • Develop insurance products based on Guidewire's recommended methodologies, while considering relevant dependencies such as claims and compliance.


Requirements


  • Understand how insurance companies work.

  • Proven experience in modelling products in Guidewire PolicyCenter.

  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills. 

  • Strengths in problem-solving, issue resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment and attention to detail.

  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills (fluency required).

  • Detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to enhance process improvement capabilities.

  • Ability to drive system analysis and identify dependencies while having business requirement in mind.

Nice To Have


  • Experience working in consulting, delivery, or IT company, especially in the field of non-life insurance.

  • Experience working in distributed, international Team.
